What are quarterly OKRs?

Quarterly Objectives and Key Results at $Company represent projects that:

  1. Will drive a sizable change in a company or departmental key success metric, e.g. improve sales by 5%
  2. Have a scope limited enough so that beginning and end of the project can fall squarely within one quarter.

Tracking Quarterly OKRs

We follow up on quarterly OKRs in weekly meetings or in biweekly sprint meetings. Each OKR owner comes prepared with:

  • an overall status for the objective (green, yellow, red)
  • if yellow, what action they have defined to bring it back to green
  • if red, what they need help with to help bring the objective back to yellow or green
